Approach
Approach
Collaboration was key—we worked with multiple stakeholders across all engineering departments at Integral Coach Factory. Every detail was carefully considered, from mobile phone placement near the berth to the strategic positioning of reading lights. Additionally, we conducted a participatory design process to develop an ergonomic ladder for upper berths, ensuring ease of use and passenger safety. By addressing key pain points, we created a design that balanced functionality with an enhanced travel experience.

Our role
Users experience design and design for manufacturing were key focus areas, ensuring all parameters across various stakeholders were streamlined into a cohesive, ergonomic, and aesthetically refined solution. The result was a passenger-centric design that seamlessly combined comfort, functionality, and visual appeal.
